Letting Service

Our Letting Department has considerable experience and will deliver sound advice on the letting of your property. We offer a wide range of property, from one bedroom flats to large houses, and we have the flexibility to tailor our service to meet your individual requirements. Services available include marketing your property to find a tenant, setting up a tenancy (where a tenant has already been secured), collecting the rent and providing a full property management service. Our management service is especially useful for Landlords moving abroad.

The broad reach of our marketing is reflected in an extensive database of prospective tenants across a wide range of rent levels. To ensure the suitability of tenants and to give landlords peace of mind our tenants are always subject to rigorous reference checks. We can also put landlords in touch with insurance providers who can offer cover against a number of risks including building and contents as well as rent guarantee and legal protection cover, to safeguard against default by a tenant. The Henley office of Robinson Sherston are members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), so their Landlords have the security of a professional, regulated service with an effective redress scheme, professional indemnity insurance and client money protection cover. We are also members of The Dispute Service, allowing us to hold tenants' deposits, and providing independent adjudication of disputes.
  Residential Property Management
Our Property Management Department provides dedicated support for you and your property. We carry out regular inspections for managed properties and deal with the maintenance issues that occur. We will advise on routine repairs and also recommend works, where necessary, to ensure that your property complies with the requirements of current legislation. We use a powerful, market leading software package to run our property management and client accounting systems. This enables us to optimise the efficiency of our service and provide you with relevant information and the financial data that you need.

Our Management service can also extend to advising and supervising major refurbishment works, and looking after vacant properties. We have access to a wide ranging pool of contractors and other professionals, enabling us to call on the specialist resources that are often needed. We are also happy to use your appointed contractors or professionals.
Residential Block Management
Robinson Sherston act as Managing Agent for a number of Residents Management Companies. We use experience gained from our residential let properties in a different context, enabling us to deal with all the responsibilities of Residents Management Companies, in regular liaison with the directors. Services are individually tailored to meet the needs of clients, optimising the use of resources and service charge funds.

Service Charge accounting is a potentially complicated area, and compliance with legislation a particular area of concern for Residents Management Companies. Robinson Sherston will guide directors through this process, drawing on the additional skills of other professionals for specialist areas such as valuation for insurance purposes and preparation of Company and Service Charge Accounts.
